About the editors

Ashley Fisher is a poet and performer originally from South Cumbria and now based in Oxfordshire. He holds a BA in English and an MA in Nineteenth Century Studies from the University of Hull. He has performed his work in pubs, book shops, cafes, clubs, colleges, tents and theatres around the country. As well as co-editing Turbulence, Ashley has run live poetry nights, a travelling poetry troupe and writing and performance workshops. His poetry has been published in Gloom Cupboard, Neon, Red Box Kite, Red River Review, San Pedro River Review and elsewhere. Iain Walker grew up in the Lake District and has lived in Staffordshire, Oxford and New Zealand. He ventured to Hull on the grounds that the University of Hull offered an MA in Buffy studies and moved from there to the North Yorkshire coast. When he is not watching science fiction, Iain moonlights as a primary school teacher.
