Calls for submissions

Hobo Camp Review is open for submissions for their Spring issue, check their submissions page here.

Turbulence is seeking submissions for issue 16, for details of how to submit your work click here.

Valley Press is seeking submissions for its upcoming Yorkshire-themed anthology, to be edited by Miles Salter. Check out their call for submissions for full details.


Events

The launch of Stephanie Conn's debut collection, The Woman on the Other Side (Diore Press) will take place on 11th March at the Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast at 8pm.

The launch of Andy Fletcher's new collection, How to be a Bomb, will take place at Hull Central Library on 10th February at 7.30pm.

Susan Evans is featuring at the Angry Manifesto Readings at Cross Hands in Fishponds, Bristol on 24th February from 8pm and at Girlfriend in a Comma at the Full Stop Cafe, Brick Lane, London on 25th February. Check out her facebook page for more details.

Speakers' Corner, an open mic for poets, storytellers and spoken word performers will take place on 10th February at the Golden Ball, York. This month's featured guest is Hannah Stone at 7.30pm.

Wendy Pratt is running The Word Shop every Thursday afternoon (1.30 - 3.30pm), a weekly workshop series in Gristhorpe, North Yorks.


Forthcoming Collections

Mary McCollum's debut collection, "Heart on the Water", will be published as a signed, limited-edition and as an ebook by Dancing Sisters on March 1st.
